Ocean Alexander Yachts is a renowned luxury yacht brand known for its exceptional craftsmanship, innovative designs, and attention to detail. With a rich history dating back to the seventies, the company offers a diverse range of yachts that blend elegance with modern features and amenities. Their yachts are celebrated for their spacious and luxurious interiors, superior performance, and long-range capabilities. Ocean Alexander represents the epitome of luxury and sophistication in the yachting industry.
The Larson Group was tasked with refreshing the brand image through a new campaign and updated photography. The overall approach has an editorial feel that makes meaning of the circular shape of the O in OA. An impactful lifestyle image fills the O in the icon to draw attention to it like a port hole window. The tagline “YOUR DREAM, OUR OBESESSION” takes center stage in large type, drawing the viewer in. Brand synergy exists across all yachts, with a signature color distinguishing each series. The result was an impactful message that crossed mediums and defined the brand in a fresh and innovative way.

Hotel Citrine is a brand new Silicon Valley boutique hotel that offers a sanctuary-like stay for those looking to make a mindful, sustainable choice for accommodations in the heart of Palo Alto, CA. Every touchpoint from the organic cotton bedding to locally farmed restaurant menu, is carefully curated to create a healthy and responsible guest experience.
The Larson Group was tasked to brand this hotel from the ground up. We developed the name, the sustainability theme, the logo ID, gave directives on interiors and exteriors, selected the staff wardrobe, wrote core values, and much more. We began with a competitive analysis to determine what was already available and what was missing from the market area. Research was conducted, from which guest personas were created and determined how best to reach them. The result was a comprehensive 140 page brand book that speaks to every aspect of Hotel Citrine and was the launching point to all that it has become. With the brand DNA complete, a consumer facing, creative marketing campaign was developed in order to best reach the savvy Silicon Valley business guest.
